Examine your conscience

Did you ever learn a programming language? or did you even write a computer program of your own? If you did, then you know that developping software is hard work. (If you do not believe it, try it.) Programs offered here, although not "professionally" made, are the result of several weeks or months of work - not counted the time invested in learning the necessary programming skills. These programs can be offered for free only thanks to the people who support our ministry financially with voluntary gifts. The same applies to the other programs offered here with permission from their authors.
The authors of commercial and shareware programs depend on being paid a just price, in order to be able to develop further programs. Therefore DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN SOFTWARE PIRACY. Do not copy commercial programs in order to use them without the corresponding licence. Do not buy programs from people who copy them illegally. All these activities are THEFT, and nobody calling himself a Christian can participate in it. And also, the losses due to piracy force software producers to increase their prices, at the expenses of the customers who buy their products legally.
I am not speaking for or against supporting certain "software giants". But if you use their products, please pay what they are worth. If you do not want this, then look for an alternative. There are a lot of programs offered in the Internet at low prices or even for free. Do a search for "free software", "freeware", etc. Here is a small list (probably outdated) of such sites:

The programs offered here in "Hijos del Altísimo" are free (but we appreciate every voluntary gift). So it is completely legal for you to use, copy and distribute these programs. But you are not allowed to alter these programs and/or distribute altered copies. You are not allowed either to sell or rent these programs, or to charge money in any other way for their use or distribution.
