Parable of the Ten Virgins (Matthew 25:1-13)

it on a sheet of paper. Cut along the lines to obtain two stripes, one with the virgins on it and another with the street and the house. Cut out the markes rectangles. Paint the drawings. Cut along the dotted lines on the stripe with the house, and pull the ends of the other stripe through the openings, from back to front. Now you should be able to move the stripe at the back from one side to the other. |

In the first position, you see the ten virgins waiting for the bridegroom:

When you move the stripe at the back to the right side, the five wise virgins disappear from the left and appear in the windows of the house. The door closes:

You can use this picture as an illustration for telling the story, but you can also give it to the pupils for painting.
